Sean Aiken of OneWeekJob.com is visiting the Big Island to learn what its like to be a Public Information Officer for the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy. Sean will be working out of our office of Science Education and Public Outreach, and engage in classroom visitations, a visit to the Imiloa Astronomy Center, schmooze at a community social event, tour some observatories on the summit of Mauna Kea and take in a public astronomy lecture. Here is the schedule we prepared, and some images of his experiences.

Sean gave a presentation on his One Week Job project, the places he's worked at, people he's met and the jobs that he has worked over the last 45 weeks. Thankfully Sean did say that his assignment at the Institute for Astronomy was in the Top Ten best jobs he's experienced to date. Yeah!
