What a great weekend we had on our Annual AstroDay Around-the-Island Tour! We started on Friday morning, and were able to meet many wonderful people at the schools and libraries. We had fun visiting the Fujihara Store in Kealia - and no, we couldn't get any discounts on stuff. We stopped at Punaluu Black Sand Beach and saw a bunch of turtles sleeping on the beach and swimming right off the shore. It was a great opportunity to distribute informational packets and get out of the Hilo rain for a couple of days.
