Annual Around-The-Island AstroDay Promotional Tour
Thursday - Saturday, April 13-15, 2006
This year, the traditional AstroDay Around-the-Island promotional tour got underway on Thursday, April 13 so that we could hand deliver as many informational packets to schools and community centers as possible. We took this opportunity to also share information about our Hilo Youth Robotics summer enrichment program, which got a number of great responses. We celebrated after delivering most of the packets on Thursday by sloshing down the Super Slide into the pool a couple hundred times (seemingly). We followed that up with a soothing soak in a boiling jacuzzi - did I mention that I found heaven at that time? 120 miles and 30 schools and community centers melted away in the bubbling waters!
