ASP Conference
Engaging the EPO Community
September 16-18, 2006 • Baltimore, Maryland
The Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) hosted this conference with the theme of "Engaging the E/PO Community", and was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. There were more than a few Hawaii people in attendance: Janice Harvey from Gemini Observatory, Kumiko Usuda from Subaru Telescope, Inge Heyer from Joint Astronomy Centre, Richard Crowe from Imiloa Astronomy Centre and Paul Coleman from the UH Institute for Astronomy. There were a lot of interesting workshops and clinics throughout the conference, and as always, the most difficult decisions to make were which sessions to attend.
Paul Coleman delivered the first plenary lecture that opened the conference After Paul's talk: Phil Sakimoto, Larry Cooper, Cass Runyon, Gruff, Isabel Hawkins, Lynn Narasimhan and Kay Ferrari Mario Livio delivering a presentation on Hubble's Top 10 List at the STScI auditorium
