Sendoff for 2 Hilo FIRST Teams

About eighty people attended a sendoff for two Hilo FIRST Robotics teams who will be competing in the regional tournament that will be held at the Stan Sheriff Center on O'ahu March 27-29. Leutenant Governor Duke Aiona gave a few words of acknowledgement and praise for the achievement of the members of robotics teams throughout Hawai'i. Art Kimura
introduced the teams of Hilo High School and Waiakea High School robotics teams and their teachers Tom Murphy and Dale Olive/Eric Hagiwara, respectively. The best of luck to all five teams from Hawai'i Island: Honoka'a High, Parker School/Earl's Garage, Kohala High, Hilo High and Waiakea High in their endeavors in the O'ahu regional and hopeful national competitions in Atlanta.
