NEWS - What do the Astrorangers do?

We believe that people learn a lot more when they are having fun, and that is what wefd like to provide: fun! The Astrorangers participated in all major astronomical events during the past two years. Here is the list of all the events where we showed up:

- Astroday 2003
- County Fair 2003

- Onizuka Science Day (Jan. 2004)
- Astroday 2004 (see www.astroday.net for info& pics)
- Mauna Kea Astronomy Education Center Open House (Jun. 2004)
- County Fair (Sept. 2004)
- County Fair at Saint Joseph school (Nov. 2004)
- Journey through the Universe (Jan. 2005)
- Astroday 2005

Hands-on experiments are a very powerful way of learning and having fun at the same time: making comets out of dry ice, creating original expanding-universe balloons, and teaching the nature of light using a geometrical optics kit are some of the things wefve done so far, besides printing posters, making T-shirts, creating stickers, and giving away our famous magnets.

When youfre having fun, wefre having fun too !
