Journey Through the Universe 2006

The second year of the Carl Sagan Center for Earth and Space Science Education sponsored Journey Through the Universe program on Hawaii Island. The program engages our community in sustained science, math and technology education in a celebration of human exploration: how we have come to know what we know about the Universe, and the joys of learning.

The master teacher training session involved 21 educators from Hilo-Laupahoehoe-Waiakea complex. A general teacher workshop was held the following day for over one hundred educators Family Science Night (Saturday) featured Jon Lomberg and his art before a screening of the movie "Contact".
