VIS Volunteer Appreciation Banquet 2007

The Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station holds an annual banquet to recognize the contribution its volunteers provide the facility, in engaging the public in astronomy outreach 365 days a year. This year over 10,000 volunteer hours were recorded, roughly equating six full-time staff. Many thanks to VIS Volunteer Coordinator Justin Stevick for his work at planning the event.
